Energy drinks. Sugar, crazy chemicals, and all nighters may be the first things that come to mind when you hear those words. I’ll be the first to admit that I drink my fair share of the things. When two o’clock rolls around, I hit a wall that is impossible to climb without the loving push of some caffeine.
I may be alone here but hot coffee in the afternoon doesn’t usually do it for me. I want something that’s cold, sweet, and has a kick. There are tons of options in the energy drink space and if you’ve ever studied for a final in your life you’ve probably tried the majority of them. I personally had never explored the “for women” sub-section of the energy drink aisle.
Recently, I tried Go Girl Energy Drinks.
The original Go Girl is in a bright pink can, is sugar free and helps curb your appetite to promote weight loss. Now, I have to say here that I really dislike anything sugar free. It just doesn’t taste right to me and most artificial sweeteners give me a headache. But, I decided to give it a whirl.
I was pleasantly surprised! It has a light and refreshing quality about it and tasted best when cold. I also tried some of their other flavors that are not sugar free. Being the die hard sugar lover that I am, I prefered the tastes of the Pomegranate Star Fruit and Peach Tea Flavors over the original. Another cool thing about Go Girl is that a portion of the proceeds of each can goes to breast and ovarian cancer research.
So, if you’re looking for a break from hot coffee afternoons and dude-centric energy drinks that are big enough to energize a family of four, try a Go Girl. Get your buzz on a give a little to someone in need. Check them out – http://www.gogirlenergy.com/
