So…Party Popcorn. Let me just say that this little treat is extremely simple to make once you get past the part where you avoid burning the white chocolate 😉 Really though, be careful melting the white chocolate. They’ll pull a fast one on you and burn easily if you aren’t constantly stirring them.
Side note: If you want to use white chocolate morsels, have at it! Just be cautious of the temperature you’re cooking them at. If you are not up to the white chocolate challenge then I would recommend using the white CandiQuik/wafer style candy melts. Those melt a lot nicer. Okie dokie, let’s get started.

White morsels or CandiQuik wafers
Step one: Melt the white chocolate morsels on the lowest heat setting possible. Do this by filling up a pot of water and bringing it to a simmer. Once the water begins to simmer, turn the heat off and place a glass or metal bowl above the pot. Place white morsels inside the glass or metal dish and stir them continuously. As I mentioned, white chocolate seizes very easily, and this can ruin the texture of the chocolate.
Step two: Put the popcorn in the microwave and let it work it’s magic! Once popped, pour into a bowl.
Step three: Once the white chocolate has melted into a pasty like texture, mix with the popcorn. Be sure to mix well so that the popcorn is coated evenly.
Step four: Add sprinkles and serve!
