4 Ingredient Nutella Cake In A Mug
My name is Bridget and I’ve been a chocoholic my whole life. I’m pretty sure it’s genetic as my mother and I have shared this love of all things coco and decadent for as long as I’ve been able to reach the sweets shelf in the pantry.
One evening in middle school I had an insatiable craving for chocolate cake. As I started to whip up a quick cake I was met with the reality that we were out of eggs!
Don’t worry.
Mom came to the rescue with cake in a cup! Just a couple ingredients, a few minutes in the microwave, and huzzah! My chocolate craving was satiated.
Here’s a nutella variation that is the perfect treat for any bougie lady with a sweet tooth.
Nutella Cake In A Mug
4 tbsp flour
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ cup Nutella (I buy the Von’s generic brand. It’s $1 cheaper!)
3 tbsp fat free milk
* If I have them, I add a few chocolate chips.
Combine all your ingredients in a large mug. Mix with a small whisk or fork until the batter is smooth. Cook in the microwave for a minute and twenty seconds. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean and the top of the cake should look done rather than gooey.
The cake does take a while to cool so be careful. Enjoy! And thanks, Mom!
