Essential Oil Spray

Making your own essential oil spray is not only a simple and inexpensive way to pamper yourself, but it can also be a thoughtful and tailor-made gift for anyone on your holiday list. As many essential oils carry unique properties, you can create just the right natural boost or relaxer that fits easily into a purse, gym bag, or desk drawer.

Here is a great list of essential oils with their healing properties. Do be careful, as some oils in certain quantities could have unwanted effects when applied to skin.

In addition, you will need:

Small glass bottles with spray tops

Distilled water

Labels to describe your amazing gift

The essential oils themselves are the most expensive part of this DIY, but to make a spray you need only a few drops. So a little goes a long way, and you can easily make several sprays from just one tiny bottle of oil.

What you do:

Fill your spray bottle to just below the throat with distilled water. Add a few essential oil drops. Seal and shake. Test the scent to be sure it is to your liking, adding more drops if a stronger aroma is desired.

Hand write or print on the labels; include a bit of information regarding the scent, and perhaps a little personal message from you!
