This dressing just sort of came together while I was cooking dinner one night. I didn’t have any store-bought dressings, but the greens were not going to keep another day. Necessity breeds innovation, am I right?
My husband loves this dressing, and now I hardly ever make anything else when dinner calls for a salad!
You will need:
¼ cup olive or grapeseed oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon balsamic or red wine vinegar
dash of salt and pepper
What you do:
Combine the ingredients in a salad dressing or other sealable container. Shake well for about a minute. Dress your greens and enjoy! This makes enough dressing for a salad that feeds 3-4.
