My Summer Reading List

I’ve always loved to read. To me, school reading lists were exciting! I get little butterflies in my stomach when I remember lying under a tree in the cool grass reading To Kill and Mockingbird and The Scarlet Letter. Growing up, my mom always told us to bring a book with us wherever we went. You never knew when you’d be stuck in a waiting room and People magazine just wouldn’t cut it!

I love a good paperback book. You should see our exploding bookshelves! But I recently tried Oyster and have been really enjoying the service. If you aren’t familiar, Oyster is an app where you can discover and read books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can buy individual books or you can get access to their unlimited plan by paying a small subscription fee each month — like Netflix, but for books!

I love the convenience of having my entire reading list on my phone and discovering new books that I never would have otherwise.

With the warm months and days by the pool just around the corner, I thought I would share my summer reading list with you all.
