While packing for my Christmas vacation in the great white north, I decided to do something I don’t usually do when packing for any trip, let alone one longer than two weeks. I decided to only bring three pairs of shoes. (I’m not that high maintenance, but I have tiny feet. Tiny feet equals the ability to cram more shoes into a suitcase than the average large footed person.)
I decided to only bring boots. First of all because it would be snowing constantly and packing ballet flats would have been stupid. Secondly, I love boots. A great, classy pair of boots can go with pretty much any casual or dressy/casual look. I have a black pair but I’m biased to a simple, low-heeled brown boot.
Below are a couple looks similar to those I sported in lower Canada. (I was actually in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan – basically Canada… or Russia. And not the warm parts of Russia.)
Each of these pieces can be purchased for under $50. The boots are from Charlotte Russe and only $40 right now! Go with a pair that fits your style (obviously) but a simple leather brown boot is a must have staple in this bougie lady’s closet.
